Arnd Baur is an expert in managing challenging situations in IT.
Arnd Baur has been working as interim manager since 2004 and has more than 25 years of professional experience, which he has gained at KPMG, Roland Berger and Alixpartners, among others. In addition to many years of consulting experience, he also offers experience in the line, e.g. as IT Manager, CIO and IT Product Manager.
He specializes in challenging topics in IT, such as CIO and IT management positions or project management, e.g. for the realization of post merger integrations, the implementation of outsourcing concepts or the implementation of cost-cutting programs.
His particular strength lies in the restructuring of IT areas. Arnd Baur has written a textbook on this topic entitled “IT – Turnaround”, which was published by Hanser-Verlag in September 2014 (2nd edition in 2018).
Arnd Baur holds a degree in business administration with a focus on business informatics and business administration at the University of Marburg.
